I am interested in developing interdisciplinary collaborations and experimental methodologies across different areas of knowledge, engaging with the latest debates about the relationship between art, science and anthropology.

I advocate for thought-provoking projects that can generate an intersubjective exchange of experiences.

In my work, the conventional and pre-established ways of working are put aside, facilitated the emergence of a new process-based and participatory form of knowledge. I believe that these novel responses in between different sciences can draw the attention of various people, in both the academy and in the public domain.

With a background in biological sciences at the Universidad de Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia), I received my MA and PhD in Social Anthropology with Visual and Sensory Media from the University of Manchester (under the supervision of Dr. Rupert Cox and Prof. Maia Green), finishing in 2016.

I have been involved in different anthropology-art-science collaborations, sound-art, participatory and relational art projects.
